Montavilla News offers a focused perspective on the businesses and development in our Portland neighborhood. Construction is documented and businesses are spotlighted, with the intention of informing the curious. Through observation, research, and conversations we attempt to cover the changes around Montavilla that are noteworthy.

If you see a building being demolished or construction beginning, if you see brown paper up in a shop window or a new business sign displayed, please come here and search for an article about it. It is our goal to cover every new house, home, duplex, apartment building, rowhouse, commercial space, restaurant, store, infrastructure, land sale, and opening event. If we have yet to cover it, please email info@montavilla.net so we can research and report on it for you.
