Today, road crews closed SE Mill Street at 76th Avenue to rebuild two small sections of the street. During the demolition work, signs detoured traffic in all directions around the blocked intersection. Workers reopened SE 76th Avenue to vehicles during the evening commute. However, Mill Street remains closed.

Last year, the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) constructed four curb ramps and rebuilt sidewalks at this location. This current work on Mill Street will repair the road surface, making it even and smooth for those on SE 76th using the pedestrian crossing. Expect several more days of repair work and the occasional disruption to traffic.
